The hooded sweatshirt (hoodie or hoody) is an international wardrobe icon.When most decorated apparel companies’ state they make custom sweatshirts, what they mean is they sell blank sweatshirts that are embroidered, silk-screened or personalized with appliqué, tackle twill, direct to garment printing (DTG) or heat applied graphics.
Crooked Brook is not a decorated apparel company; it is a label used by the atelier division of our art studio.
Our shop is a full-service apparel design, pattern making, sample making, and small lot production atelier.
In addition, we offer custom embroidery, appliqué, and tackle twill, which are the methods we use to create personalized custom sweatshirts.
We offer two types of custom sweatshirts:
1. Brand name pullover crewneck and pullover or zip front hooded sweatshirts personalized with embroidery, appliqué, tackle twill or a combination of all three.
The most popular placement of custom tackle twill, appliqué, or an embroidered logo on a sweatshirt is on the front or back.
If a sweatshirt is customized with an embroidered logo, tackle twill or appliqué on the back, usually there is smaller version on the left chest.

Of all the custom sweatshirts we sell, custom embroidered hooded sweatshirts are the most popular.
2. Custom made hoodies created from an individual pattern according to a customer’s specific measurements and style needs. Together, we can design custom hoodies or sweatshirts with your team, club, band, organization, fraternity, sorority or school colors in mind. Of course, this costs much more than option # 1.
In addition, we can design a pair of sweatpants to match your hoodie to create a custom sweatsuit (aka tracksuit, jogging suit or warm-ups).

At one time sweatshirts were long sleeved, unisex and colors were limited to heather gray, black, navy, and white. Today, there are short sleeve, cap sleeve and sleeveless sweatshirts.
Men’s sweatshirts are now available in what were once considered women’s colors and women’s sweatshirts are no longer smaller versions of men’s, with silhouettes made specifically for a woman’s figure.
Although the most popular fabric for sweatshirts is cotton fleece, many brands offer them in high-performance fabrics, knitted silk, merino wool or other fabrics in a wide variety of weights.
There are many decorated apparel companies that offer “Custom Sweatshirts – Free Shipping", "Custom Embroidered Sweatshirts - Free Logo Setup" or, “Cheap Custom Hoodies ". If your only concern is price, contact them, do not bother us.
Price, and whether there is a minimum, will be determined by the sweatshirt, method of decoration and the complexity of the logo or design.
